Oxford is getting ready to celebrate Latine/x Heritage Month beginning the week of Sept. 16. Here are two ways to help.
Contribute to our display in the cafeteria.
The display will feature culturally relevant and age appropriate materials that honor Latine/x culture in our community. We are accepting items from students, parents and guardians, teachers, and staff.
If you have items to display, please join us on Friday, Sept. 13 as we set up the Latine/x display or drop off items in the school office ahead of time.
So far, we have maps, famous people with Latinx Heritage, papel picado, flags and historical facts.

Please join us as we create the Latine/x display! We will get started at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. Sign in at the office and you will be directed to meet us in the cafeteria.
Oxford will be recognizing heritage months with cafeteria displays all year long. Each month, look for invitations to contribution from Principal Beth Cornwell. Classrooms will visit the displays to learn, discuss, and add artefacts. Thanks to Lara Andrizzi for working on the heritage month displays.
