Welcome to Oxford Elementary School
With approximately 275 students, Oxford is the smallest elementary in the BUSD. But with its small size, comes a community that feels like family!
In August 2020, Oxford was relocated to 1222 University Avenue after a geological survey raised concerns of the safety of the school in the event of an earthquake. The new campus boasts many amazing upgrades including a new playground, cafeteria, auditorium, and renovated classrooms.

The teachers at Oxford are committed to educating every child and are sensitive to students’ individual needs. We offer rigorous and stimulating learning experiences in a nurturing and supportive educational environment. Our social-emotional learning program, Toolbox, promotes the development of personal qualities, such as empathy, patience and courage, encouraging the children to become healthy members of society and life-long learners.
